What Merdeka means to me?

Merdeka is a national day of Malaysia commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British colonial ruling. 31 August is the day where people in Malaysia celebrates the day we got our independence. It meant a lot to all of us, because of Tunku Abdul Rahman, the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, we now get to do whatever we like without other countries telling us what to do. In our country, we have multiracial, we have Chinese, Malay, Indian and many more. We're all like one big family. We help each other when we have difficulties. Never let each other down. I've always love my friends no matter what are they or who they are.
Now in year 2008, its the 51st year our country celebrates the independence day. Our country has achieved many achievements. For example, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar he was the first Malaysian who went to space. Lee Chong Wei, the guy who won the silver medal for the badminton competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and for that he is getting a Datukship, and many other achievements. And for that i love my country.

<< that was my order from my english teacher to write what merdeka means to me. it maybe true it maybe not. so yeah. XD

avril's concert

went to avril's concert yesterday.
wid Amanda, Phoebe, Scott, Amir, Ching Jin, Ching Xong, Ian, Andy, Joey, Janice and Timothy.
went to KFC to have our dinner before headin to the stadium.
to see ANDY'S favourite singer. lol
it was drizzling when we were in the stadium.
how unlucky. everyone looked ridiculous wid tht raincoat.
hahaha !! we were hitting each other's head with tht thingy we got outside the stadium.
CUZ avril was LATE. hahaha.
we spend more den one hour waiting for her.

but the concert was nice. phoebe and i were crazy !!
we were screaming like hell ( but no matter how loud i scream i can't beat phoebe )
hahahahaha. XD
the song i love most was " when you're gone"
SOME PPL was being emo *ehem* but not telling who XD hehe.

after the concert we wanted to go out to have supper together
but how sad. amanda's dad came early.
so we were the first to left.

niwayz i had lots of FUN =)
n im having fever n headache today.
thx to the rain last night.

i guess, this is where im gonna start today. =P
